The Mexican Government brought a new definition to OHH advertising with its new campaign. 

A penis seat with a label "For men only" was installed at the Mexico City train to address an issue that Mexican women face every day, sexual harassment. 

“It is annoying to travel this way, but not compared to the sexual violence women suffer in their daily commutes,” says a sign on the floor next to the seat.

65% of the Mexico City women has been a victim of sexual harassment on the city's train or buses, also "nine out of 10 women in Mexico City have been subjected to some form of sexual violence".

The battle between social media apps keeps rolling

No long ago we witnessed how Whatsapp insert in their app the same feature that Snapchat promotes, the current status of their users.

But beware this is not the end of the wars between the apps, now Instagram has announced that they will continue their efforts that started since December this year to keep releasing the Geostickers function on their stories. Currently, this feature is only available for New York City and Jakarta. 

“Since introducing stickers in December, we’ve loved seeing how you’ve used them to bring your stories to life — from hats to Valentine’s Day fun to customizable location stickers,” Instagram said in a blog post. “Now, with more than a dozen new stickers each for New York City and Jakarta, you have another creative option for adding context to your everyday moments.”

 

 

We shall wait for the next tool's releases that Instagram will offer to their users. Hopefully, the next Geostickers function will be #Miami.

We did some research to understand more about this day, and we found out Valentine's story.

Accordingly, to "History Channel" one legend tells that Valentine “was a priest who served during the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men."

Valentine didn't agree with the Emperor Claudius II theory, he believed in love and marriage, so he kept performing marriages for young couples in secret. When the Emperor discovered Valentine's secret, he ended with his life.

That's why we celebrate Valentine's day on February 14, the most romantic day in EEUU.

We believed that The Falcons had the game in their hands, but it all changed at the last minute when the Patriots made their comeback and won.

It was indeed an unpredictable game, but we couldn’t help to notice the ads, as the advertising agency we are. This is the moment that every advertiser wants, we are talking about $5 million dollars’ spots, so every drop of creativity counts.

1)    Skittles

Is all about the romance, that’s what Skittles was all about. We love their creativity because they remind us that Skittles is for everybody. 

2)    Snickers

We put Snickers second in our list because is as simple as "you can ruin everything when you’re hungry", and this is a neat way to communicate that.

 

3)    Mr Clean

What a way to communicate that a man can also do house chores. That’s all our statement.

 

4)    Turbotax

A pleasant view to show a subject so complicated as Taxes. Excellent idea, and we can all relate to Humpty Dumpty.

Finally, we can all take this ad as an example that, there’s never a simple or boring product to advertise. We can always take it to the next level.

Fantastic commercial, it has a profound message that calls to meditate the situation that’s happening in the country.
